    Default Anime Freezone?

    Hi Guys

If you'd really like to see some support from the gaming community.. i think it would be a great idea to look at hosting a free anime section..

Anime seems to be the "drug" of choice for most gamers...

Possibly look at hosting a few different anime series or hold a poll to find out which the community would like hosted.. i know most of the currant content can be found at OC which happens from month to month.. then its just the new episodes that need to added each week

Just an idea... dont know how the rest of you feel about it?

I think as it's more of a gaming service they're probably gonna focus more on...games. Would be nice though....

    "repay" how so?

there are numerous sites where you'r able to download anime for free?

I would think that having a large influx of new adsl consumers would "pay" for the hosting of a few anime series

It's a idea... I'm sure WA know better than most of us on what is and isn't a viable Freezone "addition"

    Hi there

It's an interesting idea and although I can't promise anything at this stage, we can investigate and see what is possible.

Ideas are welcome, thank you. However, Anime is far to specific, not to mention legal issues for Free Zone

We'll be focusing on large updates, patches, public FTP mirrors etc, and of course content caches (like Steam), also down the line large videos etc (non-copyright) stuff.

Im personally not impressed by this freezone thing. Im waiting to see what their new price structure is like and if Im not impressed Im moving myself. All my friends feel the same way. Put something like youtube on freezone and then maybe we can talk, but till then, you can keep your useless freezone and your ridiculous pricing and your so called wonderful support service which Ill probably never get to use.

simply because just hosting without paying back the respected owners of their IPs is stealing.

sure there are a lot of "free" pay sites for anime, but do they for example give a cent back to gonzo for all their work they are making a profit from?

exactly as wamatt has put it that wage can't just host anime due to legal issues as well as to appease you because you don't want to go and buy they series and or manga as they come out.

wage is a great start in the correct direction, but now obviously every tom johnny and sandy expects webafrica to become another shady supplier for their leeching needs and when that is not met then o gee lets go all snotty about it.

Just because you can download it for free doesn't mean that you're not violating copyright or IP agreements.
