Hello all!

I'm busy performing a little maintanance to the TS 2 and 3 servers. The service will be spotty, as we are moving them to another server, to overcome the connectivity issues that have been experienced over the last couple of days. They should be up and running once again properly at about 17:00 today

Update:

I'm having some sort of problem bring ts3 back online, something seems to have gone awry, arranging a restoration from a backup

Teamspeak 2 is fine. Teamspeak 3 is still dead.

It's in a beta stage anyway, rather go with TS2 for now.

What is the TS2 IP please?

the IP for both is chat.wage.co.za, or 41.185.60.12 , with their default ports in each case.

TS3 has gone seriously funky, i'm restoring from a backup

Update:

Teamspeak went a little wonky with it's database, so I decided to wipe the thing clean, seems that my patchwork DB upgrade seemed to have created more problems as i went along with the first installation right at the beginning.

I apologise, I have created a brand new server, and started repopulating the channels. It has also been moved to a new server, and the IP is:

41.185.60.13

Cool. Lets pop it on a dns as well. Eg speak.wage.co.za etc. Something along those lines

Yessir, will have the update fixed for DNS, which is currently chat.wage.co.za

TS3 will be going down this morning for a dababase upgrade and should be back online by 11:00, if not sooner...

The connection details are still valid, and yes, the database didn't break, all channels and permissions are still there

Further Update!!!!

Teamspeak 2 has been moved to 41.185.60.13, to assist with the problem of the server not accepting connections randomly. The DNS entry take about a day to propagate for chat.wage.co.za correctly, in the meantime, use the ip address directly:

41.185.60.13

UPDATE 08/02/2010:

TS3 will be going offline this morning for a bit; I'll be tying it into a managment system. Service should resume happily by midday at the latest
